Through lived experience of change, challenge, and renewal, this space was created to support wāhine wherever they are on their life path and in the journey of te whare tangata.

The Ruahine Puna walks alongside wāhine navigating Ruahinetanga, honouring strength, healing, and the responsibility of nurturing the generations that follow. This includes grandparents raising mokopuna, whose role in holding whānau wellbeing is vital and deeply respected.

This is a space of return, not expectation.
You are welcome here as you are.

A Sacred Puna for Reflection, Intuition and Remembering

The Heart of He Moko Puna

He Moko Puna

He Moko Puna is a living puna,
a place to return to yourself and to the kuia who walk beside you.

This journal was created for wāhine in Ruahinetanga
for those who have walked many paths,
who have carried others,
and who now feel the quiet call to return inward.

There is no starting point only a returning.

He Moko Puna honours the cycles of te whare tangata,
recognising that wellbeing moves in rhythm, not in lines.
Each reflection is a small ceremony of returning to yourself.
Each breath, a homecoming.

Within these pages, you are not asked to fix or perform.
You are invited to pause, to breathe, to listen.

Reflection is the soft hand
guiding you through
what your heart
cannot yet speak.

The digital space exists to gently walk alongside the journal —
offering moments of return, orientation, and remembrance,
without urgency or expectation.

The journal is the taonga.
This space simply supports your return to the puna.

Return when your mauri calls.
Return when life feels full.
Return knowing

You do not seek wisdom outside yourself;
it already resides within the puna.

He Moko Puna

A Sacred Puna for Reflection, Intuition and Remembering

He Moko Puna is a sacred reflective space created for wāhine to return to themselves to pause, to listen, and to remember what already lives within.

This journal is not a workbook to be completed, nor a programme to move through. It is a puna, a place you return to when you are ready. A space for reflection, intuition, and remembering, held gently across the seasons and stages of life.

He Moko Puna draws from lived experience, indigenous knowledge and collective kōrero. It is offered as a companion for wāhine navigating change, transition, healing, leadership, and renewal. There is no fixed pace and no right way to begin.
