Our Ingoa

Te Ohomauri Innovations

Te Ohomauri represents the awakening of mauri and potential within.

Our ingoa reflects our vision to empower wāhine whether creating frameworks for empowerment, facilitating connection and healing, or addressing immediate needs in our community.

The ingoa “TOI” is not only an acronym for Te Ohomauri Innovations, but symbolises the sacred vines from the heavens and the many pathways to wellness. These sacred vines represent the interconnectedness of life, weaving together knowledge, resilience, and empowerment for wāhine.

The TOI Wā Hine Framework

The TOI WāHine Framework is a way of understanding wellbeing through the movements of Hinetītama and the sacred vines from the heavens.

It follows that natural cycles Te Kore, Te Pō and Te Ao Marama.

It is a way of being to notice where you are and to return to balance.

Our Milestones

These milestones reflect the unfolding of TOI Wā Hine.

Shaped through Wānanga, the symposium and the lived experiences of wāhine and whānau.

Each step marks a return to what has always been within us.
