How to Walk with He Moko Puna

He Moko Puna is a sacred puna, not a pathway to rush through or complete.

This journal is a companion something you return to when you are ready. Some wāhine will open it often, others occasionally. Some will write, others will sit quietly with the words. All of these ways are valid.

There is no right place to begin.
There is no set pace.
There is no expectation of completion.

Being with the journal

He Moko Puna is designed to support reflection, intuition, and remembering. You may choose to:

  • Read slowly and pause often

  • Write freely or briefly

  • Return to the same page many times

  • Step away and come back when life allows

Let the journal meet you where you are.

Time and intention

This work is best approached gently. Even a few minutes of intentional reflection is enough. Trust what arises, and trust when it is time to rest.

If at any point the kōrero feels heavy, you are encouraged to pause, ground yourself, and seek support where needed. This journal does not replace professional or clinical care it sits alongside your wider wellbeing supports.

The deeper movements

Within He Moko Puna, you will encounter the TOI movements of being that guide reflection rather than instruct it. These are not steps to master, but invitations to notice how you are moving through your life.

You do not need to understand them all at once. Understanding comes through time, reflection, and lived experience.

Beginning

When you feel ready, you may download the journal and begin anywhere that calls to you.

Trust yourself.
Trust the pace.
Return as often as you need.

He Moko Puna will be here.

Next step

He Moko Puna is currently available to registered wāhine as part of a soft opening. The official public launch will take place in March.
